Nordic Kids Parent Involvement

Nordic Kids is based on parent volunteers. Nordic Kids thrives on the energetic support of the parents -- without parent involvement, this program would simply not exist. In order to make sure the students receive the instruction and organization they deserve, we have to require some time from at least one parent or adult from every family.  This is not a “drop-off” program, we're a cooperative association and everyone helps.

Opportunities to volunteer:

  • On the Snow: each group of 5 to 8 kids will need 2 or 3 adult leaders, every week. You don't need to be an expert, just willing to lead and have fun!
  • Coordinators: will serve as communication facilitators for each group.
  • Lodge Helpers: will do check in, check out, snacks, patrolling the lodge area, and clean up.

Your involvement doesn't require a huge amount of time, and the jobs are easy and fun!
